Our Commitment
Frisco's Carhop Diner is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Work is ongoing, and we do not claim full conformance. Automated checks on October 30, 2026 covered our home, history, accessibility, and error pages at desktop and narrow mobile widths. Automated checks cannot establish that a website is accessible; assistive-technology testing and content review are still needed.
Technical Specifications
This website uses HTML headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus indicators, and layouts that support narrow screens and browser zoom. These features do not by themselves establish conformance.
Known Limitations
- The History magazine archive contains scanned pages. Page labels identify the scans but do not convey all article text or photographs. Complete, checked text alternatives are not yet available. Automatic text extraction produced substantial errors and is being reviewed rather than presented as an accurate transcript.
- The embedded diner video still needs review for accurate captions and any necessary audio description.
- Online ordering is provided by a third party and has not been fully evaluated through checkout.
- Testing with screen readers such as VoiceOver or NVDA is still needed.
Online Ordering Platform
Online ordering is provided by Hunger on a separate website. If you encounter a barrier while ordering, please contact Frisco’s using the phone number below for assistance. We also welcome reports about barriers on the ordering platform.
Third-Party Content
The homepage embeds a YouTube video. Maps, social media, and ordering link to their providers’ websites. Third-party content can have accessibility limitations; please report barriers to us so we can help and investigate.
